As well as being the name of an island, a town in Spain, and a few other unrelated things, the word "Rota" is used in the UK to describe a staff shift plan or schedule. This new site takes some of the emphasis away from the word Rota (in comparison to our original site at oriador.com), in an attempt to minimize the possible confusion for visitors who haven't come across this usage of the word before.
